Medieval & Medieval style Arrows
Self nocked, whipped and sold in sets of 6. They are fletched with a 5″ traditional cut feathers available with red cock feather and white hens. Quality traditional wood arrows, finished traditionally with beeswax for waterproofing or varnished. Perfect for; target archery, field archery and 3-D shooting/roving. The red cock feather and white hens in my experience help to make the arrows stand out especially in leaf mulch, hopefully helping you to lose less!
Stating your draw length and the spine of the arrows you require 20/25, 25/30, 30/35, 35/40, 40/45, 45/50, 50/55, 55/60, 60/65, 65/70, 70/75
For example 28″ 50/55lbs the 28″ represents your draw length.
The 50/55 is a little more complicated but here’s it made simple, the width at the point arrows pass on self bows particularly long bows usually need arrows 5-10lbs lighter in spine, this is because Arrows need to be able to bend around the bow and as self bows aren’t centre shot or with cut outs, so the arrow has to pass or bend round the bow. Having arrows 5-10lbs lower than the poundage of your bow helps to lesson paradoxing or basically helping to reduce the bow shooting off to one side.
So 28″ 40/45 Arrows would suit a 50- 55lb longbow for example.
